2 More Months

I am going to graduate soon...
My study life is going to end officially soon...
Is time for me to plan about my life about my future...

I actually thought before about what should I do after graduation... Now i roughly have the draft of my future... After graduation, I will go to find job related to teaching, I mean private informal education such as tuition teacher, kindergarten teacher or daycare teacher... While working, I will apply for becoming a government teacher, a staff in the bank and a staff in a research company... Although I am not interested to become a government teacher, I will try to apply for it since I have spent 4 years to study this field... Becoming a staff in a bank came into my mind when I had a chat with Tien Mie... As you know, I don't have any adult which is "professional" and able for me to talk to... I hope to have an elder brother like Tien Mie's brother who I can approach to and talk to when I am confused... So I asked Tien Mie about her brother's advice to her for her future... And she told me of her brother asking her to apply for a pose in the bank... Becoming a bank staff is a good idea because the benefits are very attractive...So I will try... While becoming a staff in research company is not the company which does scientific research but is a company which does survey about particular products or service... I think this work is interesting as I am able to get to know more people and I will be able to force myself to communicate and I will be no longer a "hermit"...

After I told about my plan to Mr.Egg, Tien and Gun, I don't know why, I felt that my future is BRIGHT ^^

I found this particular quote in a particular drama that I watched... I like this quote...

"You can trust a person but do not put hope on a person... The hope you put might bring you disappointment..."

Hello

Wow.. It has been a month since my last blog... Long time didn't update my blog.. Maybe because my life in these weeks were monotonous and have nothing to write about...

I am having my semester break now... The time passes so fast (I know I have emphasized and mentioned this numerous times in my blog)... Well... Erm... I think I might have several things that worth for me to talk about...

1) I have 7 more weeks to go before my final semester of my course officially ends...
2) I am able to use my Watsapp... But none talk to me using watsapp also... Therefore, actually no point for me to be able to use watsapp T.T
3) Mr. Egg bought me an Iphone... First time in these 24 years of my life, I use this fruit branded mobile... Excited but at the same time frustrated because I am not a tech-savvy... Many things in the Iphone, I do not know how to use... Have to google whenever I have a question regarding this fruit mobile (annoyed)...
4) I have done my Chapter 1 and 3 of my thesis... Going to proceed to Chapter 2 by this week...
5) Mr. Egg and I have been together for 7 years ^^ And instead of eating heavy dinner to celebrate it, we had coffee together... A simple celebration for this year...

Ok.. I think that's all for today... Oh by the way, I have started to reading a new book after the "Five people You met In Heaven"... The book that I am reading now is "A Thousand Splendid Suns"...  And one more thing to go... At first with the implementation of GST, I was angry but after a while I think I should just accept the reality... But now I am really angry with the current implementation regarding the raise of the parliament's members' salary... I mean I am angry because the increase is too much and excessive... So what now? The government is in debts... Malaysian currency is depreciating... implementation of GST making everyone has to pay extra 6% for what ever they buy... All these making the middle-class and lower-class Malaysian suffer... Despite of these, the government bought private jet and now increase the salary of Parliament members as a motivation??? If you increase between RM100-RM2000, is still can be accepted... But now you raise their salary for more than 147%??? Where does the raise come from?? Is from us... Your beloved citizen...

I am a frustrated... I am annoyed... Because I am a Malaysian... Because I never think of migrating T.T

CNY Day Two, Three & Five, Six

Since there is nothing much to say my recent life, let's continue to talk about CNY..

CNY Day 2 & 3:

Every year CNY, going back to my mother's father's hometown, Kampar, is a custom for us.. Except for last year.. I forgot the reason my family did not go back to Kampar last year.. This is my youngest granduncle's house.. From the left, my youngest granduncle, my 4th granduncle, my 6th granduncle and *deng deng deng deng* my grandfather..

Selfie is a must in every occasion.. Ya. we had "lou sang" again.. This year I had "lou sang" for almost five times? Many times but I can't remember the exact amount..

1st day had a picture with his own father and this time he had picture with his father-in-law.. My father enjoys going back to Kampar because he can play mahjong with my granduncles which are also his "mahjong kaki-s" and also he can have men-talk with my granduncles..

This picture was taken by my uncle who is very close with me.. I kinda like this picture not because of the model in this picture but because of the lightning in this picture and this picture is "natural"..

Ya.. My cousins, siblings and I learned to play mahjong this year.. But we are not experts yet.. And no money was involved..

We stayed there for one night in my youngest granduncle's house.. His house during daytime was super hot and stuffy but when it comes to the night, wow, it was cooling without the air-con.. We went to many places to "bai nian" and received quite a number of "angpaus".. But the most important thing is gathering, talking and reunion with the kins..

CNY Day 5 & 6:

Ok.. It came to the days that I quite anticipate the most.. This year CNY was a little bit special for us.. Usually during CNY, my father will bring us to local trip.. But this year, we didn't go anywhere, we just go on a cruise.. First time to sit, sleep, walk and have fun on a LARGE cruise..

This is Penang Second Bridge.. We were taking this cruise by taking the package trip.. RM 350 per person.. We sat on the bus for a few hours.. To go through this bridge, driver has to pay toll for RM 25 for bus, RM 75 for lorry and only RM 7 for car.. Nothing special about this bridge.. It was just that we can have sea view, both sides design of the bridge are special and it is long..

Then the tour guide stopped us at a side to take pictures.. My parents, father's friend and wife on the left and my aunt and her hubby on the right..

We went to the snake temple.. The weather her is super hot.. I wonder why every year CNY, the sun will be super scorching.. This temple has nothing special.. It was just a normal Chinese temple but the uniqueness of this temple are the (1) stair up to this temple has many many beggars sitting on the sides of the stair, waiting for your money and (2) there is a room in this temple that has almost 10++ snakes and a huge snake waiting for you to spend some money and take picture with them..

What a coincidence.. During our arrival, we saw lion dance which was having performance in this temple.. For almost 7 years, I haven't watch any lion dance performance in KL.. This Chinese performance is going to disappear soon.. The funny thing was, when the lion dance was performing, the beggar who was sitting on the stairs waiting for donation, used his "SMARTPHONE" to take pictures of the lion dance.. Beggar can afford a smartphone.. Rich beggar..

We waited at the pier for almost an hour to enter into the cruise.. While waiting my cousin, Xuan, sis and I took many ugly selfie.. One of it is this picture.. Tien's phobia..

This is the cruise that we took.. One of the cruises that is belong to Genting.. It's name is Libra.. My zodiac ^^

We took pictures at the aisle..
The cruise was not only large but long long long..

We don't gamble.. There was nothing to play in the cruise.. We were bored and so we decided to go for karaoke together.. Talking about karaoke, we had a weird and new experience.. Mr.Egg likes singing and he has a very nice voice.. So that day he sang as usual and due to his good singing, an uncle invited him to sing with him.. Two tables treated us drinks and food.. Thanks to Mr.Egg, we have strangers treating us and we were full and happy..

Because we were singing without realizing the time passing, we ended our singing session at 2 something, took a quick sleep and woke up at 5 something just because of this: sunrise.. Beautiful Mother Nature..  It was worth for taking away our sleeping time for this..

It is raining heavily now.. The thunder's sound is scary.. Making me no mood to continue to blog = =
Oh, before I forget, there is something that is worth for me to mention..
~ I HAVE FINALLY FINISHED DRAFTING MY CHAPTER 1~
Now I am waiting for Huzaina to comment about my Chapter 1.. But i have sent this draft for several days, until now no reply from her yet..

Chinese New Year Eve & 1st Day of CNY

Can't believe that Chinese New Year is coming to an end soon... Still remember how mum and I were talking about the unhappening ambience of this year CNY few weeks before the arrival of this festival... CNY is mostly about reunion and gathering among family and friends... Although I prefer Christmas than CNY, CNY makes me feel warmth and love among my family members... To me, Christmas is about appreciation while CNY is all about warmth and reunion...

CNY Eve:

During CNY Eve, it is a custom for Chinese to have reunion dinner with the family... I had dinner and "lou sang" with my family too... From the left: my eldest uncle, my grandma and my granpa...

After dinner, we had our second round activity which was playing fireworks in my grandma's house... Children's favourite and adult's favourite, regardless of age... These are my siblings and cousins... Either maternal's side or paternal's side, I am the eldest on both sides...

A corner of my mum's decoration for CNY... My mum is good at decorating and cleaning house... I didn't inherited this talent from her...

HAMPERS~~~ Every year CNY, it is a must for my mum to receive numerous of hampers from the parents of the babies that my mum takes care of and of course from Mr. Egg...

1st DAY of CNY:

As usual on the first day of CNY, we will only go to our maternal and paternal grandparents' houses... Started from last year, I make it as a practice to take selfie with my family... I considered this a "failed" selfie/family picture... We tried to take family picture for twice but both pictures are not "well-taken" pictures... We wanted to try to take again but my dad lost his patience in taking photos = =

This year CNY, I hope to take more pictures among my family members... I think my dad seldom takes picture with his parents or siblings unlike my mum... My mum and her sisters... Her sisters love to take pictures... This picture was taken by my sister... My father & his father... Two lovely smiles and two look-alike faces...

These are my aunties... My grandmother (my mum's mother) gave birth to 6 children and these are the six... Started from the right is my eldest aunt and up to the sixth is my youngest aunt...

This year CNY is a little bit special because we went to an old folks home at... I forgot the name of the place... My father and two of his friends went to this place... We bought a few sacks of rice for them... This was my first time to visit an old folks home... This place is stuffy... The old people here looked blue... I saw an old granma who was wearing a pampers only at the bottom without any pants/shorts... I talked to her a little bit and she was happy when I approached her ^^

Lou sang with my mother's family..

This February is a happening month for me... It is not only because of CNY, Valentine's Day but February is also a month when my mother was born...
Much to talk and to be continued... Maybe later or tomorrow? Depending on my mood and idleness ><

Happy Birthday, Mr.Egg

Because I am a normal and lazy human... During the holidays, I am not productive... My daily routines are as followed:

  • Send my brother and the girl that my mum takes care of to schools;
  • Send my brother to tuition;
  • Stay at home and watch Korean/Taiwanese shows/dramas the whole day;
  • Daydream
I have violated the promise I made for myself to finished my thesis Chapter 1 by 25th January... I knew it... The promise will not make it... Anyway, I should have started soon...

Two days ago was Mr.Egg's birthday... As usual wishes from many people but the real celebration is with me ^^ I was happy that my best friend wished him also on Facebook...

I bought a pair of shoes which are specialized for badminton player... It was expensive though... RM189 for this shoes and I used my PTPTN money to buy it... Phew... Luckily I didn't use much money this semester... look at him... So happy ^^ I bought his present earlier because this pair of shoes was in promotion until 5th January and I was given one week to change the shoes if the size is not fit... So I have to show him his present for him to try... Ya... Luckily, I gave him to try because the size I chose was not his feet size... We changed it to size 10...

We had the birthday celebration at a coffee shop in Kepong... Work31shop... Nice environment but limited choice of food...

I had dinner earlier at home... So I ordered Strawberry Pancake, Caramel Latte, Hazelnut Latte and Bacon Spaghetti...

Everything tasted delicious except for this pancake... It looked nice but when I ate it, it was kind of dry...

No place for us to sit... So we had to sit at a big table for six and the waiter was not a good photographer... The models were goo looking but the picture looked so empty...

We had a simple celebration this year... Not every year birthday has to be special... It is special enough to celebrate your birthday with your loved one...^^

One Line Big Differences

Many Malaysians love to work at Singapore rather than Malaysia.. Singapore and Malaysia are neighbouring countries but the living lifestyle, the education and the currency there are better than Malaysia... Most of my relatives chose to work or stay there... My youngest aunt who bought a house at Johor and chose to wake up at 4 something in the morning, drive to Singapore to work, suffer the jam at the custom, come back at 11 something at night back to Johor... She slept only around 3 to 4 hours a day except for Sunday... I know it is tiring to have this kind of life everyday but she gets lots of money by working there is she changes the money from Singapore currency to Malaysia currency...

This morning I saw my primary school friend's mother... She told me that her daughter which is my hi-bye friend works at Singapore as an accountant for 5000++ Singapore currency per month... Wow... Do you know what that means? She earns around 10000++ in Malaysia currency... A 24 years old single lady works for RM10000 per month? Wow.. Even she has RM5000 I felt that is a lot, how about 10000? I am jealous...

The economy in Malaysia is no longer prosperous...
We have GST...
We have inflation...
We have drops in our rate...

Our country is good but it has to improve in many aspects...

After graduation, I might consider and hope to be able to work in Singapore also...

By the way, I read about GST... GST is not a new system... Many countries implemented GST(also known as VAT)... GST in many ways from the articles that I read is better than Government Sales Tax and Service Tax... But I think because it is new in Malaysia, most Malaysians do not understand and used to this system, therefore, they might feel reluctant and unhappy with this system...

They said the course that I am studying now is able to bring me to many different ways out...
But I can't think of any jobs that are related to what I learned except for teacher...
So many people, so so many people in this world are able to speak and write English fluently than me...
Then, what can I become or do after graduation other than teacher?
I don't know...
